The Easiest Sangria Recipe

There are many versions of Sangria. In Spain they often contain a measure or two of the local liqueur. The basic recipe is:

750ml medium red Spanish wine
4 oz Spanish brandy
Splash of soda water or Lemonade
Juice of one orange and one lemon
Sliced whole lemon, orange and lime
1 table spoon sugar

Combine ingredients in jug half filled with ice. Dissolve sugar and add soda. Serve immediately.

Sangria is really good drink especially in the summer. It is really refreshing and there are a lot of recipes for it. All of them are so simple and full of this delicious citrus red wine flavor.

Chill all the ingredients prior to mixing. In a large bowl with a cake of ice in it mix:

2- 750 ml bottles of desired red wine
3 oz Curacao or Triple Sec
2 oz Brandy
cup orange juice
cup lemon juice
cup sugar

Stir until sugar dissolves. Add orange and lemon sliced thinly. Add soda water.

Fill tall glass with ice

1` oz Orange Liqueur
oz Brandy
Dash of Sour mix
Dash of orange juice
Pinch sugar
Fill with desired red wine and splash Soda Water. The garnish is orange and lemon.

Sangria Blanca

Fill tall glass with ice

1 oz Peach or Orange Liqueur
Dash of Sour Mix
Dash of orange juice
Pinch sugar
Fill with desired White Wine. Shake. Splash of soda. Garnish with peach slice.

1 bottle of dry red wine
1 oz Brandy
1 oz Triple Sec or Curacao
1 table spoon sugar
Very cold Club Soda
Orange slices
Lime slices
Lemon slices
Pineapple chunks

In a large pitcher combine red wine, Brandy, Triple Sec, fruits. Refrigerate overnight. When it is ready to serve add the Club Soda and more sugar if you desire. Stir

Sangria Especiale

2 bottles Red Wine
1 bottle Champagne
4 oz Gin
4 oz Cognac
Sugar, to taste
Juice of two oranges
Juice of 2 lemons

Add all the ingredients to a punch bowl. Stir and add ice. Garnish with orange and lemon slices.

Sangria Shabbabe

1 table spoon sugar
1 table spoon lemon juice
2 oz red wine
1 oz white wine
1 oz orange juice
Sprite or 7- Up
Fresh lemon and orange slices

In a bottle or large wine glass dissolve sugar in lemon juice. Fill the bottle or the glass with ice. Pour in red wine, white wine and orange juice. Stir well and fill with the soda. Garnish with orange and lemon slices.
